KULT Presents: Tying for a Mood

  • Fusion Events Center (map)

You know a couple of knots and frictions, but how do you turn that into a rope scene? This class will discuss and demonstrate ways to demonstrate ways to communicate intention and emotion when tying, regardless of how big or small your skillset is, and will include hands-on time.

This class assumes prior knowledge of any non-collapsing single-column tie, and welcomes tying pairs, groups and self-tiers alike.

What you need:
+1 8M Long rope (limited community rope will be available), Yoga mat/blanket recommended, and rope casual clothing (comfortable/non restrictive).

Meet the Presenter:*
Moonie (he/they), @spitewitch is a queer, transmasc chaos muppet with a strong love for rope. They have been tying and getting tied since 2018, and currently co-host Chicago Self-Tie, Chicago Rope Bite Lab, and Bight Night (The Chicago chapter of Hitchin Bitches). He also enjoys doing things the hard way, resisting convergent evolution, and taking things apart to see how they work.

This event is free for the community to attend but donations are appreciated to help with future events here.

You must be +20 with ID and willing to sign a waiver of liability and confidentiality to attend events.

Rules of Code & Conduct can be found here.
